FAQ: Why Are My Cards Auto-Daubing on iPad?

A common point of confusion for iPad users is finding that when they play with four cards, the 3rd and 4th cards are being daubed automatically, taking away their control. If this is happening to you, don't worry—it's not a bug! It simply means you have the wrong version of the app installed.

The Cause: iPhone Version vs. iPad HD Version

Bingo Bash has two different versions available on the Apple App Store:

  • The standard "Bingo Bash" app: This version is optimized for the smaller screen of an iPhone. To make gameplay easier, it focuses on two main cards for manual daubing and assists by auto-daubing the 3rd and 4th cards.
  • The "Bingo Bash HD" app: This version is specifically designed for the larger screen of an iPad. It provides an enhanced experience with optimized graphics and, most importantly, allows for manual daubing on all four cards.

If your 3rd and 4th cards are being auto-daubed, it means you have accidentally installed the standard iPhone version on your iPad.

The Solution: How to Install the Correct Bingo Bash HD App

To get the full iPad experience with manual daubing on all cards, you need to install the "HD" version. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. First, it's a good idea to delete the incorrect Bingo Bash app from your iPad.
  2. Open the App Store on your iPad.
  3. In the search bar, specifically type in "Bingo Bash HD" and press search.
  4. From the search results, select the app named "Bingo Bash HD". It will likely have "HD" in the title or icon.
  5. Tap the "Install" or "Get" button to download and install the correct version onto your iPad.
  6. Once installed, launch the new Bingo Bash HD app. You will now be able to manually daub all four cards.

Important Note for Guest Players

Your Guest account progress is app-specific. This means the progress on the iPhone version will not automatically transfer to the new HD version.
