FAQ: Friends Not Visible or Can't Send Gifts?

One of the most common issues players face in Bingo Bash is suddenly being unable to see their friends list in the Gifting pop-up. This can be frustrating, as it prevents you from sending and receiving daily gifts, a major source of free resources.

This guide will walk you through the most effective troubleshooting step to fix this problem and explain the basics of the gifting system.

First, A Quick Refresher on Gifting Rules

Before troubleshooting, let's review how the gifting system works. All the details are in our main Gifting Guide, but here are the key points:

  • Your in-game friends list is populated by your Facebook friends who also play the game.
  • You can accept up to 12 Bingo chips and 8 Powerplays every 12 hours.
  • You can send a gift to each individual friend only once every 24 hours.

The Solution: Reset Your Facebook App Permissions

If your friends list is empty or not appearing in the gifting menu, it's almost always due to a permissions issue between the Bingo Bash app and your Facebook account. The best way to fix this is to remove the app from your Facebook profile and then re-authorize it.

Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Log in to your Facebook account on a computer or in your mobile browser (not the Facebook app).
  2. Navigate to Settings & Privacy, then click on Settings.
  3. In the left-hand menu, find and click on Apps and Websites. (On some versions, this may be under 'Security and Login').
  4. Find the Bingo Bash app in your list of active apps and click on it.
  5. Click the 'Remove' button. Facebook will ask you to confirm. Agree to remove the app.

Don't Worry, Your Progress is Safe!

Removing the app from Facebook DOES NOT delete your game account or progress. Your level, chips, and collections are safe. This process only resets the permissions that allow the game to see your friends list.

The Final Step: Re-linking the App

After you have successfully removed the app from Facebook, simply open the Bingo Bash game on your device. It will prompt you to log in with Facebook again. Do so, and make sure to grant all the permissions it asks for, especially access to your friends list. Once you've logged back in, the issue should be resolved, and your friends list should reappear in the gifting menu.
