This guide will explain what the Apple Sign-In feature is, how it functions similarly to a Guest account, and how to log out of it if you need to switch to a different profile.

Understanding 'Sign in with Apple'

The Apple Sign-In feature is designed for privacy and ease of use. When you use it, you are essentially playing as an anonymous player. This makes it very similar to the Guest (Play as Guest) option.

While your progress is securely linked to your Apple ID (making it safer than a standard guest account), it does not connect to your social graph. This means you will face similar limitations to a Guest player:

  • You cannot access the social features that require a Facebook connection.
  • You will be unable to send or receive daily gifts with friends.
  • You cannot change your in-game profile picture from the default.

For the full game experience with all social features and access to the most freebies, linking to a Facebook account is still the recommended option.

A Note on Progress

Although it functions like an anonymous account, your progress with Apple Sign-In is saved to your Apple ID. This is a key advantage over a standard Guest account, which can be lost if you change devices.

How to Log Out and Switch Accounts

If you are logged in with your Apple ID and wish to switch to your main Facebook-connected account or play as a standard Guest, you can easily log out by following these steps:

  1. From the main Lobby screen, tap on the 'Gear' icon (⚙️) to open the Settings menu.
  2. Select the 'Logout' option from the list.
  3. A pop-up will ask you to confirm that you want to log out from your Apple account. Tap 'Logout' again to confirm.
  4. You will be returned to the main login screen. From here, you can choose to 'Play with Friends' (to log in with Facebook) or 'Play as Guest' to access a different account.
