A Beginner's Guide to Mastering Power-Ups

Published on:

Power-ups are your secret weapon in Bingo Bash. Using the right one at the right time can be the difference between a good game and a BINGO! But with so many types, it can be confusing. This guide breaks down the most common Power-ups and how to use them effectively.

How Power-ups Work

As you daub numbers during a game, you fill a power-up meter. Once it's full, you get to activate one of the Power-ups you have equipped. You can get more Power-ups from gift links, daily quests, and by buying them with Coins.

The Most Common Power-ups Explained

  • Instant Bingo: The holy grail of Power-ups. This will instantly mark one random un-daubed number on one of your cards that will result in a Bingo. Save this for when you need a guaranteed win or to complete a quest quickly!
  • Free Cell / Chip Cell: This Power-up will daub one random number on your cards for free. It's great for getting you one step closer to a Bingo without having to wait for the number to be called.
  • Money Cell: This places a coin icon on a random square. If that number gets called and you daub it, you win a bonus amount of free Coins. It's a great way to build your Coin balance.
  • Double Daub: For a short period after activation, every number you daub will also daub one extra random number on your cards. This is incredibly powerful when you have multiple cards and can double your progress.
  • Gem Cell: This Power-up places a gem on a random square. Daubing it rewards you with collection items, which are key for finishing sets and earning big prizes. Use this in rooms where you're actively trying to complete collections.

Strategic Tip

Don't just activate Power-ups as soon as you get them. Pay attention to your cards. If you're only one number away from multiple Bingos, using a Free Cell or Instant Bingo is a great idea. If you're just starting, a Double Daub can give you a strong lead. Mastering this timing is key to becoming a Power-up pro!
